We designed everything about this high-country modern home to allow it to tuck away into the beautiful mountain landscape and provide a cozy environment for the clients to retire in while standing up to the extreme elements it lives in. This super-insulated, off the grid home boasts an ICF foundation, closed-cell spray foam insulation over Zip-R sheathing, in slab radiant heat, full height Marvin windows, butterfly vaulted living room with clerestory windows, open-hearth fireplace, Corten steel roofing, Sapele Pivot Door and ceiling treatment, and a detached garage/shop with heated floor and a bunkhouse and deck above. This home feels amazing and cozy no matter what is happening outside!
